Purpose of Your Job Position:
The Community Outreach Representative builds connections between organizations (nonprofits, health, government) and the public, promoting services, educating people, and improving community well-being through events, education, and direct engagement. They develop programs, manage campaigns, and work to make essential resources accessible, often focusing on health, social services, or brand awareness, requiring strong communication and relationship-building skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.Program Development: Creates and implement outreach initiatives to regularly communicate Allies In Caring's mission and value to referral sources through various channels, including phone, email, newsletters, written notes, events, and professional networking activities. Identifies new opportunities and collaborate with management to align efforts
2. Community Engagement: Organizes events, contributes to social media communications, and participates in networking with local groups.
3. Education & Promotion: Informs residents about available services (health, social benefits, etc.). Oversee the development of communication materials. Plans and conduct educational and outreach events (virtual platforms) to organizations such as, but not limited to, educational institutions, community agencies, faith communities, and local businesses.
4. Relationship Building: Fosters positive connections with community members, stakeholders, and partners.
5. Feedback & Reporting: Documents interactions and community feedback to guide strategy. Responds to inquiries from community members and other interested parties, conduct follow-ups, and gather feedback to continuously improve service offerings.

3. Excellent communication (verbal & written), both in Spanish and English.
4. Cultural competency, building trust and effectively connecting with diverse communities by understanding, respecting, and adapting to their unique beliefs, values, and communication styles.
5. Ability to cope with stress, challenges, and changes in a calm and professional manner.
Required Qualifications
· Must be fluent in Spanish and English
· 3 years of experience minimum, working in outreach, community engagement, and public relations - (Have stablished relationships in the south jersey area)
· Computer proficiency (Can use Microsoft 365 - Word, Power Point, and Excel, and can retrieve and input data from different platforms efficiently)
· Preferred - Degree or BA in health or human services, or equivalent experience in the social services field.
.Valid NJ driver’s license and ability to travel.
· Current authorization to work in the U.S.
