Habits, we all have them. While mindfulness has been around for thousands of years, recent research has helped us understand how it works in the brain and how mindfulness is effective in habit change.
In this presentation and conversation, we will describe how the brain works and introduce a practical and effective approach to working with all kinds of habits, from stress eating to worrying. Mindfulness-Based Habit Change (MBHC)

Instructors:
Robin Boudette, Ph.D., clinical psychologist, and mindfulness instructor, is a certified MBSR instructor and is a member of the teaching team at Jefferson University Hospital. In 2016, she began working with Judson Brewer, MD, Ph.D., offering evidence-based mindfulness interventions for habit change. She also provides online courses, workshops, and retreats around the country.
Lish Dorosin, M.Ed., has been a teacher and mindfulness practitioner for over 25 years. After a long career as a high school history teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area, she teaches behavior change, stress resilience, and mindfulness at UCSF, UCLA, and the Oakland Zoo.
