About the event

Transferable skills, also known as soft skills, are a specific set of skills that don’t belong to a particular occupation; they are general skills that can be adapted between jobs, departments, and industries. Self-management skills are the abilities that allow people to control their thoughts, feelings, and actions. If you have strong self-management skills, you can set goals independently and take the initiative to achieve them.

You must emphasize your key transferable and self-management skills throughout your resume, job application, and interview. These skills can go a long way to persuading a potential employer that you are the perfect fit for their company, even if you don’t necessarily have the experience.
