IT’S OUR STORY

THIS YEAR’S NEW WORKS DEVELOPMENT SERIES GOES INTO THE COMMUNITY.
Eagle Theatre and Allies in Caring’s Con-Vivir Wellness Hub partner to present the very first It's Our Story, empowering community voices through theatrical storytelling. Over the course of three workshops, a group of Hammonton-based adult “actors’ will learn and use the tools of the theater to explore body, voice, and artistic expression to build confidence, friendships, and a deeper sense of self. Participants will step inside the world of theater learning improvisation, games, and basic theater techniques. The program will culminate in a public sharing of the participants’ time and work together. It’s Our Story embraces theater as a community connector – to bridge relationships with our neighbors and to develop and grow empathy in Downtown Hammonton.
A FREE PUBLIC PERFORMANCE WILL TAKE PLACE AT EAGLE THEATRE ON SATURDAY, MARCH 25 AT 2PM.

LA SERIE DE DESARROLLO DE NUEVAS OBRAS DE ESTE AÑO VA A LA COMUNIDAD.
Eagle Theatre y Con-Vivir Wellness Hub de Allies in Caring se asocian para presentar el primer Es Nuestra Historia, empoderando las voces de la comunidad a través de la narración teatral. En el transcurso de tres talleres, un grupo de "actores" adultos con sede en Hammonton aprenderán y usarán las herramientas del teatro para explorar el cuerpo, la voz y la expresión artística para construir confianza, amistades y un sentido más profundo de sí mismos. Los participantes entrarán en el mundo del teatro aprendiendo improvisación, juegos y técnicas básicas de teatro. El programa culminará en un intercambio público del tiempo y el trabajo conjunto de los participantes. Es Nuestra Historia adopta el teatro como un conector comunitario - para unir las relaciones con nuestros vecinos y desarrollar y aumentar la empatía en el centro de Hammonton.
