Through this participation, they will learn whether higher education or joining the workforce is suitable for them immediately. They will also learn to conduct a job search, how to dress for an interview and the process of applying for college enrollment. More importantly, they will be able to find out what their passion is and the importance of using it to better serve the needs of the world in the 21st century.

All of these topics and instruction through EmpoderArte will increase students' chances of getting accepted to a college or learning leadership skills and entrepreneurial skills for those who want to start their own business.

Students will participate in a weekly 2.5-hour session for 8 weeks offered both in English and in Spanish, where they will get to interact with other youth and exchange ideas about their future. Before sessions begin, there will be a parent-youth orientation to obtain more information about the sessions and sign the required documents for participation. Every session will include materials needed to participate and dinner.

Winter sessions will start on December 10th for youth ages 16-24 in Hammonton, NJ. Classes will take place from 5 to 7:30 pm every Friday, at Con-Vivir Wellness Hub, 100 S Second St, Hammonton, NJ.
