Free Counseling Helpline

If you are concerned about your mental health or the mental health of someone you love, we can help. Our Free Counseling helpline offers telephone counseling, emotional support, information and assistance. Call us to (609) 878-2007, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.

 

This service is available in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. If you call after-hours, your call will be answered by a voicemail. Calls will be returned within 48 hours. You could also send us an email to help@alliesincaring.org 

Guidelines for deaf, hard of hearing, and DeafBlind people during the Coronavirus

A coalition of deaf and hard of hearing consumer advocacy organizations, deaf doctors, and other experts worked together to provide special guidelines for deaf, hard of hearing, and DeafBlind people and medical personnel to use during the coronavirus pandemic.

If you need additional food assistance, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey SNAP Outreach team can help you apply or recertify for SNAP benefits. Call their SNAP hotline for assistance over the phone: 800-609-3663. 

Special Automobile Insurance Policy (SAIP)

The Special Automobile Insurance Policy (SAIP) is an initiative to help make limited auto insurance coverage available to drivers who are eligible for Federal Medicaid with hospitalization.

 

Such drivers can obtain a medical coverage-only policy at a cost of $365 a year.
