Licensed Clinicians: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCDC, LAC, LSW,etc.
The licensed therapist develops a therapeutic plan and documents progress in an accurate and timely fashion, provides structured, goal-oriented, time-limited therapy to a child or adolescent who has behavioral needs and/or developmental disabilities. The licensed therapist will provide therapy in home, school (if necessary, according to the treatment plan), or other community-based settings.
Specific interventions/supports include, but are not limited to:
• Individual counseling
• Family counseling
• Immediate behavioral reinforcements
• Emotional support
• Parent training, etc.
Requirements:
• Valid Professional License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCDC, LAC, LSW, etc.)
Bachelors Level Behavioral Support/ Behavioral Assistant
Behavioral Assistants assist children and youth with acquiring, retaining, improving and generalizing the behavioral, self-help,socialization and adaptive skills necessary to function successfully in the home and community.Implement service plans with individualized treatment goals to address psychiatric, behavioral, emotional, and social needs, incorporate community-based activities and programs for child, youth and families. Complete all necessary documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, guidance and counseling or social work.
• At least one year of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plans.
- Teaching activities of daily living for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilitites.
Behavioral Technician 1
Behavioral Support Technicians assist children and youth with acquiring, retaining, improving and generalizing the behavioral, self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to function successfully in the home and community.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, guidance and counseling or social work.
• At least one year of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plan, teaching activities of daily living for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
OR
Behavioral Technician 1
Behavioral Support Technicians assist children and youth with acquiring, retaining, improving and generalizing the behavioral, self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to function successfully in the home and community.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least three years of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plan, teaching activities of daily living for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Respite Provider
Respite Services are in-home services for children and youth under age 21 diagnosed with developmental disabilities, that give families an opportunity to take a break from their normal caregiving activities. This aids in reducing tension and burnout at home by allowing caregivers to go out to social events, engage in selfcare or simply stay at home and relax while someone is providing the care for them.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least three years of supervised experience in implementing positive behavior support plans
• Teaching ADL/Instrumental skills for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Please be aware that the following requirements need to be met for any and/or all positions:
• Willing to travel up to an hour from home
• Pass NJ criminal history check
• NJ child abuse clearance required
• Valid NJ driver's license
• Reliable means of transportation
• Pass Tuberculin Skin (TB) test
• Bilingual language skills (Spanish or ASL) preferred
